Aqiqah is a Sunnah act of thanks to Allah (SWT) for the gift of a child. By giving your Aqiqah through Islamic Relief Kenya, you share that joy with families who are struggling to put food on the table.
We carry out your Aqiqah in Kenya and give the meat to families in need. You can give for your own child, or as a gift for a new baby in your family or community.
Every child is held in pledge for his Aqiqah, which is sacrificed for him on his seventh day, and he is named on it, and his head is shaved.

Give your AqiqahThe Sunnah is to perform the Aqiqah on the 7th day after the birth. If that is not possible, it can be done on the 14th or 21st day, or at any time after that.
